We are delighted and proud to announce that the jury of the 10th Anniversary WWWSTAR AWARDS International Music Competition has been enriched by an outstanding new member: Prof. Yu Fan, a distinguished trombonist and educator from China, joins our international panel of experts.
🎺 Outstanding Professional Background
Prof. Yu Fan serves as Deputy Director of the Orchestra Teaching and Research Office and trombone teacher at the middle school affiliated with the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, and is also a trombone and chamber music instructor at the university's orchestral department. He is a member of the Zhejiang and Hangzhou Musicians Associations, and previously held the position of Deputy Principal Trombone of the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra.
🌍 International Studies and Artistic Career
He completed his studies at the prestigious Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and later at the Temple University in the United States. His mentors include renowned professors Li Dali, Hao Jie, and Blair Bollinger.
His international performance career spans Europe, Asia, and the United States, where he has collaborated with leading orchestras, including:
